The school was established in June 2001 and is undertaken by Catholics and have therefore named the institution after Infant Jesus. The Founder found this name very appropriate because it represents the childhood & innocence of Jesus Christ. Initiated as a play school with 2 pupils in hand. The quality of education of the school was well appreciated by the citizens of Ambernath, which encouraged its tremendous growth and subsequently resulted in its vast increase in the number of pupils. The school is currently on a 3000 sq feet building at present, along with a small play ground and other amenities. The objective to begin this school was to give quality primary education to the pupils of Ambernath. The school now has170 students from nursery to Std 4 and employs 9 teachers and 3 helpers under close supervision of the Trust.
